I am offering a classic Japanese CEC BA300 turntable manufactured in the late 1970s, which has been fully restored and is in top working condition. Full description here on the Kleinanzeigen.

Below you will find a list of the repairs and improvements that have been made to the unit:

•  The motor has been completely cleaned and freshly lubricated.
•  The spindle was cleaned, the bearing was polished to a mirror finish and the old oil reservoir was replaced with a new, high-quality MoS2 lubricant.
•  All moving mechanisms were tested and lubricated.
•  The lift mechanism was fitted with fresh silicone oil of the correct viscosity.
•  The platter was cleaned and the rim was polished.
•  Hardwood blocks were added to the plinth to improve the damping of higher frequencies and to ensure the stability of the chassis.
• The driver's springs were replaced and the old damping foams were replaced with high quality damping foams (PolySound Sylo) to ensure optimum damping function at perfect levels.
• The wooden panel of the base was replaced with a high-quality, multi-layer MDF panel to reduce acoustic feedback and screws were added for future repairs.
• The old plastic cover of the plinth was removed, the veneer sanded to perfection, stained with teak, sealed with a beautiful shellac finish and polished with natural beeswax for protection.
• The IEC C13 socket and matching earth cable ensure a safe and user-friendly appliance.
• The old 5-pin cable has been replaced with properly wired RCA plugs with a special grounding screw to ensure compatibility with modern phono stages. Proper shielding with copper braided shields attached to the connectors guarantees a very low noise floor.
• The original dust cover has been cleaned and old scratches have been removed and polished as much as possible.
